First and foremost, you need to consider your undergarments. The last thing you want is to be trying on dresses with a hot pink or leopard print bra that will not look good with a strapless dress and won’t give you a good idea of what you will look like on your wedding day. It’d be important to bring a strapless bra with you. Maybe some nude undergarments, Spanx if you are trying to wear a fitted dress or anything that you feel most comfortable in and will be able to see exactly what the dress would look like on your big day.
Second, you’ll want to bring the right shoes with you whether you plan on wearing heels for your wedding or flats. It’s important to consider how that will look with your wedding dress. Some bridal salons will have communal heels that you can try on with the dresses, but that’s not always the most comfortable thing to do. So you might want to consider bringing a heel about the same heights that you plan on wearing for your wedding, if any, just so you can see what that extra height will do to your dress or what having no height at all with you.
